Kite buggying - boarding: Ynyslas Wind Direction: WNW Wind Stength: 11 knots Surf / Sea State: N/A Air Temperature: 16C Sea Temperature: N/A Weather: Sunny Max Speed: Distance Covered:
There wasn't enough wind for anything else today and the sea was flat, so
out came the Blade and Mt. Board. The sand was nice and flat and hard
packed though and there were a few other kiters out on the beach so I had a
good time cruising up and down just nicely powered up. Steve and Stevebus
had a go as well, and I think Stevebus got into it a little. It was the
first time he'd flown a kite and within 10 minutes of first flying the kite
he was up and moving on the mt. board.... I've always said it was easy!
I was going for 180 tailslides into heel side gybes, and making most of
them, but wasn't really keeping the speed up all the way through. I used to
be able to it, but I haven't been out with the kite for a while and was a
little rusty.
A nice day on the beach in glorious weather.
